Ward 1 Councillors hold surgeries prior to local Parish Council meetings as follows:

• Ackworth Parish Council usually meets on the 2nd Monday of the month (except August) at Ackworth at the Parish Council Community Centre on Bell Lane, Ackworth (District Councillor surgery from 7pm);
• Badsworth Parish Council meets on the 3rd Tuesday in the month at the Lawson Hut, Badsworth (District Councillor surgery held from 7pm);
• Nostell Parish Council meets on the first Monday of each month at the Nostell Village Hall Nostell (District Councillor surgery held immediately prior to this meeting at 5:45pm);
• Thorpe Audlin Parish Council meets on the last Thursday of each month at Ramsden Village Hall, Thorpe Audlin (District Councillor surgery held at 7pm);
• Upton & North Elmsall Parish Council usually meets on the third Monday of the month (except August) at the Village Hall, Upton at 6:30pm (District Councillor surgery held immediately beforehand from 6:00pm)
